Charlene Kaye - “All the Life Around”

I love the orchestration in this song, and Charlene’s voice sounds beautifully nostalgic.  Her music has got a lot of influences.  She’s mostly folk, but sometimes I hear a little bit of country.  Other times, she sounds Appalachian.  But she’s from Hawaii and moved to Arizona, so who knows where she got those influences.  Her voice reminds me a little of Carole King, and her lyrical style makes me think of Vienna Teng.  Charlene has a new EP coming out in June. :)
