Kevin Hammond - “Maybe”
Seriously, why isn’t this song played all over the radio by now. It’s such a catchy summer song. I LOVE IT! Kevin Hammond is signed to A&M/Octone, and one of my former colleagues play bass for him. If you like this song, buy it! New artists need support so that their label will pay attention to them, and give them a budget to go on the road.

The Postal Service - Nothing Better
Here’s another great album from Ben Gibbard’s pet project band. I’ve been hoping for another album for awhile but I guess he’s focusing on Death Cab these days. In any case, I love the 8-bit beats, catchy tunes and interesting lyrics. This song is obviously about a breakup but for some reason it’s one of those songs that makes me inexplicably happy.

Tori Amos - A Sorta Fairytale
I was in the mood for some Tori Amos today, every time I listen to it I think of the creepy music video with Adrien Brody but it’s still a great song. If anyone knows Tori Amos it’s the first song they think I’m sure as it’s her most successful song to date so sorry I’m not very original today! Hope you enjoy nonetheless especially if the weather is as good everywhere else as it is here.
